Welcome to A2K9

The newest and best dog center in Ann Arbor! We focus on building the relationships between dogs and their humans through fun positive training methods. Our training is based on current research in animal behavior and training, but always with an emphasis on everyone--both dogs and humans--having fun while training. We have three areas of training. The first is Family Dog Training, good for adult dogs and older puppies who need to brush up or learn proper manners for living in a human world. The second is our Pupstart program for puppy as young as 7 weeks old to six months old. Our third is Play Agility where you can teach your dogs new skills in a fast, exciting sport that is taking over the dog world.

Our large training room is 2500 square feet with a padded flooring made especially for dog agility training. When we are not holding training classes, the training room is available for Playdates and Freetime activities. We also have treats for the dogs and beverages for their humans for sale at our training center. There is plenty of parking and A2K9 is centrally located on Washtenaw Ave between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.

A2K9 is located in the same building as the Dog-O-Mat, Ann Arbor's self-service dog wash. The Dog-O-Mat also has a retail area where we sell grooming supplies, collars and leashes, a variety of high quality treats, educational and interactive dog toys, and reading material related to dog training.
